Summer heat or a busy schedule, whatever the reason, the Crew looked tired and content to grind out a draw.
Hesmer (6): Solid in goal. Dallas only had a few real chances all game.
Francis (5): Struggled early with the higher pressure, but was mostly solid in the back.
Iro (5): He was not the sharpest, but still contained a potent Dallas attack.
Marshall (6): Couldn't create on set pieces, but yet another very sharp defensive performance.
O'Rourke (6): Struggled with rising star Brek Shea early, but settled down and limited his chances.
Carroll (6): Was able to help corral the everpresent David Ferrera.
Moffat (5): Broke forward with abandon, but wasn't able to create much from it.
Gaven (5): Wasn't able to influence the game, quiet most of the day.
Renteria (6): Was a handful for whoever was marking him. He created many of the chances the Crew was able to create.
Schelotto (5): Deadball service was lacking, but still had a few moments of brilliance.
Garey (4): Hustled as usual, but wasn't much of a threat. He scuffed a cross goal pass that may have given the Crew the win.
Lenhart (5): Came in and was his usual handful, but wasn't able to turn the game.
Burns (NR): Only a few minutes and not enough time to make an impact.
Coaching (4): Shuffled the lineup a bit, but his subs were confusing at best. An obviously gassed Garey was left to play 90 minutes with Griffit on the bench. Looked content for a draw.
Crew Man of the Match: Renteria made the most, if limited, impact.
